He is heartworm positive; please do not let that deter you from adopting as heartworms are treatable and not contagious. Boss may need to be only dog - needs a meet and greet first. Boss arrived at our shelter as a stray and no one came to look for him. He is not a fan of cats, so please NO cats as he will need to be in a cat free home. Boss may need to be your one and only and will need a meet and greet with your dog(s) to ensure a good fit. Boss is a sweet boy and welcomes all of your love and attention. He greeted me with a friendly face and plenty of tail wags as he was happy to make a new friend. Boss took treats gently from my hand. We quickly became best friends thanks to those yummy treats I had stored in my pocket. Boss leashed up easily and we headed out to the yard. He enjoyed going outside for some much needed exercise and a potty break. He sniffed around, explored his new surroundings and then sat down for more pets. Boss is a good boy and he would love to be part of your family! Please come meet him. The shelter is full with more adoptable pets than we have space for on the adoption floor. He needs a home quickly!
