About twilight: 𝐓𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 - #A1972898 10/15 Stray | GSD Mix | Female | 2Y | 45lbs | HW NAD
𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Twilight is a sweet girl who loves attention. She enjoyed walking around and meeting other people at the adoption event. Everyone loved giving her pets. She even waited patiently to get back into her kennel. She was sooo much calmer after she walked around. She gave me kisses and sat down next to me. She was a bit jumpy before we walked around though just because she?s still just a pupp and wanted to jump up to give me kisses. She doesn?t know sit yet, but she is treat motivated and is ready to learn!

𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 10/20 Twilight jumps on kennel door as I approach her. Whale eyes and panting. Once she is leashed she spinds in circles then turns around and jumps at me. I have to keep her on a short leash to prevent her from jumping at my face. I left her in the run to potty and came back to leash her she was being vocla towards the neighbor dog. Once she was leashed and walking back she would again go in circles and jump up towards my face. Once she was back in her kennel she was vocal and pacing back and forth. 10/19 Today, Twilight held the same behavior as observed yesterday (jumping on kennel door and pawing at me while holding an open mouth pant, red eyes, and wiggly body) at the initiation of the interaction. Throughout the AM walk she held a zigzagging leash and jumping on me at the same time through most of the interaction until I began to redirect her with treats and keep all her 4 paws on the floor. When doing interactions, she began to jump on customers a lot as well until I calmed her down with treats and some pets. Would recommend some extra time for leash training. 10/18 Approaching run, Twilight was non-stop vocalizing and pawing at the gate as I walked closer to her. I tossed treats to redirect her attention but she remained doing so until leashed. After that, Twilight started to jump on me as well as spin on the leash until redirected a few times with treats along the way. After being placed in her new kennel, noticed her getting vocal again so I Covered her kennel door, tossed over treats to redirect, and also provided with extra enrichment.
Don't adopt just because you feel sorry for twilight!
Adoption should be a well thought out decision, it's a lifetime commitment.
