She is now on the euthanasia list for "Medical (Heartworms) and behavior (timid, trembling, dodging the leash, doesn?t want to get up, have to muzzle and carry)." The shelter will help with heartworm medication if she is adopted through them. I entered the kennel leashing her encouraging her to exit the kennel. She did not want to move so I had to pick her up and carry her to the next kennel. 4/2/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTES: Trembling, hid her face, whale eyes, tucked tail and refuse walks so I muzzle her, carry and move to the new kennel. 4/3/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTES: Carol was in the back of kennel curled up, tail against body, ears pulled back and trembling body. As I tried to get the leash around her head she kept moving her head avoiding leash.
