𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐎 is now on the euthanasia list for "Behavior (Multiple behavior notes of dog standing on kennel door, high pitch crying/howling. Pulls on leash.)." 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 3/16/2025: INTAKE: 1 large blk/brn dog left tied up to pole in the playground at Waldemar Park (COH Park). Dog is friendly. 3/20/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Carmelo was a move adopt to my section today. He let me leash him and walked on a Simi tight leash. Inside his kennel he will scream with a high pitched tone after people pass by him. I am putting him on adopt eval. 3/23/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Walking the row, Carmelo is vocalizing, howling, and jumping on the kennel door. 3/23/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Carmelo is vocal in the kennel, he pulls forward on the leash and does not take any treats. 3/24/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approach kennel, Carmelo was at the front of the kennel door with a tense body, dilted eyes and high tense curled tail. Put the leash on Carmelo, he started walking semi-pulling on the leash to the dog runs, again I tossed treats mix with chicken and he was just not intreseted in them. I place him in the dog run and as I was walking away, he was standing on his hind legs and howling/whinning. After being outside for awhile, I walk him back to his kennel and again as I was walking away to take another dog out, Carmelo started to get vocal and howling in the kennel. 📝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: T25-029867 03/17/2025 63.0 lbs 4/9 NORMAL Temperature : F Became tense while attempting to complete intake exam.
