He is a little tense around other dogs so a multi-dog household might not be the best match for him. He is excellent on the leash and we know he'll make someone very happy. Medical Notes 3/13/25: 03/13/25 11:23 The dog is BAR. Offered canned food and eating well. 03/12/25 09:46 The dog is BAR. Offered canned food eating well, at this moment. 03/10/25 09:06 ate food overnight, seemed uninterested in food given in the AM 03/08/25 17:28pt appears deppressed, not eating pm meds or food in kennel. 3/9- Not eating, QARH, will not allow mouth to be examined or oral meds to be given so we can't Rx Entyce. No signs of CIRD at this time. Recheck in 2 days. 3/6: Pet has been prescribed Doxycycline for 14 days as part of our new heartworm therapy. Pet is to go home with remaining Doxycycline prescribed. RX: Doxycycline 100mg Tabs ? 10mg/kg(Round down) BID x 14 days. Playgroup Assessment 3/11: Tense when interacting with the other dogs. Was assertive and seemed to be a bit of a hall monitor. Would disrupt the play of the dogs in the group. Would escalate corrections that were giving to him. Disruptable with tools. PG 2 dog tolerant, no play style Shelter Observations 3/4: very friendly, waggs his tail and seemed very interested in our squeaker toys, approaches staff members, walks super well on the leash
