Dog reactive in back intake during work up. Otherwise, loose and wiggly during interaction and work up. Relaxed in kennel. When retaking pic dog came forward and allowed me to pet. Maintained a relaxed body with wagging tail. 1/16 Richie was a move adopt this morning. Walked with loose leash from runs inside and into kennel, quietly lying on his bed throughout the rest of cleaning and after opening was still quiet, but was standing on hind legs looking out over side of his kennel wall while walking dogs past or when citizens walked into the row. For PM walk, Richie held tight leash out to runs. Once out in the runs was running back and forth along fence wall with Rocky (A1987677). When taking him out of the run, Richie began trying to grab the leash in his mouth and began chewing on it, play bowing and wagging tail. When I pulled the leash out he began jumping up and mouthing on my arm. I was able to redirect with treats but once birds started swarming for the food Richie jumped up trying to chase them. Put the treats away and Richie held tight leash but was no longer jumping up. walked him into his kennel and dropped treats in his food bowl for him while I pulled leash off and shut door. 1/17 Richie walked with semi-tight leash ahead of me out to runs. When I came back outside he was overaroused, jumping up against gate. I tossed treats down to redirect and leashed while he ate treats. Richie walked with tight leash back inside and into kennel for treats. 🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 1/14/25 S/O: small focal area of mild dermatitis of dorsal between shoulder blades A: mild focal dermatitis P: no further treatment necessary at this time. very mild. continue to monitor.
