On 12/26/24 I was alerted to check on Norbert as he seemed poorly socialized. He had fought the catch pole, flailing and biting the pole.
I briefly visited him in his kennel. He was laying down curled up at the back. There was some blood in his kennel and his food was untouched. I slowly opened the door and tossed a stuffed toy sprayed with adaptil. He shifted away some, but showed no other reaction. Used a sheet to cover the front of his kennel for overnight. Will recheck tomorrow.
On 12/27/24 I visited Norbert in his kennel. ACT Riccia reports he ate his dry food and seemed ok until a leash was placed to move him. He behaved the same way as the catch pole: flailing, biting the leash, etc. She was able to get him into a rolling kennel to move him.
When I visited him he was laying at the front of his kennel. I offered treats, but he showed no interest. I entered his kennel and sat with him for some time. He remained laying down with his eyes darting back and forth. I offered treats again and he showed no interest.
