𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 10/5 dog was picked up in the back of hpd parol car. Dog is not aggressive
𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 10/20 Vocal in her kennel, very forward on the leash . Once she was placed in the run she began to vocalize at neighbor dogs. When coming back to leash her up she was over aroused at kennel gate. Jumping up trying to exit out before I opened kennel door to leash her. On the way back to her kennel she was forward and panting heavily. I walked her back to her kennel and she would be vocal throughout the rest of am cleaning. Had to cover her on both sides. 10/19 Today, Peony held the same behavior as noted yesterday (vocalizing as other dogs barked by her kennel and pulling while leash walking). She did eat a few of the meatier treats today but continued to hold a tight leash. Re-covered her kennel door due to her vocalizing at both other dogs and customers. 10/17 Approaching kennel, Peony is non-stop barking while holding a wagging tail and dilated pupils at the front of her kennel door. I redirect her a few times by tossing treats at the back of her kennel but noticed that when it came to walking other dogs by her kennel, she kept forward barking (especially while neighboring dogs did as well). She held a semi-forward leash while pottying outside in the courtyard and once following back inside of her kennel, she took treats readily. However, ignored as a for of redirection when dogs would pass by. Would recommend to walk dogs on the other side of building or covering both sides of her kennel door.
