Meet Kane, a lovable 7-year-old who recently found his way to our shelter after being surrendered due to his owner?s housing issues. With his striking brown eyes and warm, friendly demeanor, Kane is a true heart-stealer.

He would begin to socialize with the dogs around the yard as he warmed up to them, approaching for greetings and sniffs. He was tolerant of the more playful dogs and their rough play.
VOLUNTEER OBSERVATION
On 9/28/24
When I was at Kane?s kennel he wagged his tail and then got very happy when he saw the leash. Outside he pottied immediately. He knows how to sit. He will come when called. Kane very much enjoys getting pets, and will roll over onto his back to get some tummy rubs. When he walks towards you his ears bounce around in the cutest little fashion. He walks well on the leash, he does not pull and he walks straight ahead. He likes to stop and smell the roses along the way. We passed several people on the walk and he was friendly to all these strangers, wagging his tail if they said something to him. We also passed another dog and he observed but then went on his way. Kane has a friendly happy demeanor.
