𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 9/24 Zeus was brought over as a move adopt yesterday. I have been noticing since he has been nonstop vocalizing in his kennel. For am walk he was jumping on the kennel door as I tried to leash him up. Once leashed he is very forward on the leash . PLaced him outside in the runs. When returning back to bring him back inside he was vocal with a high pitched barking. As I leashed him he began to jump up and pulle dforward on the leash and I had to stop him due to him trying to then pull towartds another dog. Very strong on the leash and did not care for the treats as I tossed them down to try and distract him. Placing on Adopt Eval to monitor. 09/24/24 9/26 Approaching kennel, dog is high pitch vocalizing, jumping on the kennel door while displaying dilated pupils, back ears, and open mouth pant. I redirected with treats which he took but once leashed and out of kennel, Zeus began to hold a very forward leash with raised hackles. He would ignore treats this time around and began to forward bark on the way to the run as well as when left there. He remained non-stop vocalizing in kennel once placed back but I kept him busy with a raw hide. 9/27 Approaching kennel, Zeus held the same body language and behavior as described on the previous note. Today, I walked the dog on the shortest route to get outside and walked him around the premise in which he still pulled heavily ignoring the meatier treats offered. I placed Zeus in the chicken coop to avoid getting him more aroused in the run while having neighboring dogs. Dog was slightly quieter but began to vocalize while I retrieved him as well as when placing him back in kennel. Tossing over treats helps keep him busy momentarily as well as a raw hide. 9/29 Zeus has been non stop vocalizing in the kennel through out the morning. Zeus pulls forward on the leash , does not take any treats when offered when trying to redirect. Zeus presents a tense body, dilated eyes and high stiff tail.
