Alfalpha is on the at-risk list due to behavior concerns. In care, Alfalpha has struggled to adjust to the shelter environment. He has shown high levels of leash biting and arousal behaviors, biting at the rope and snapping at staff members during intake and medical. Alfalpha has also been difficult to remove from his kennel, displaying anxious behaviors such as whale eyes,pacing, panting,tense body and avoidance and biting on the leash. When outside, Alfalpha is hypervigilant and tense, showing minimal interest in interactions with staff. Medically alfalpha is apparently healthy.
