𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 I spent a little time with Bo today. He was pretty calm in his kennel and took treats nicely out of my hand. He?s a really handsome boy! We did attempt to temp test him with another male dog and he wasn't very receptive. We believe it may be because the other dog wasn't neutered. He did well with other dogs that were neutered and just fine with female dogs.

𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 9/17 Approaching kennel, dog was laying down in the corner. He was making eye contact with wrinkled forehead and tense body. I started to baby talk and he got up but remained in the back. I then squatted down and dog approached me slowly. I then lassoed the leash and he walked out loosely. I placed him in runs and he quickly started to sniff around and then went potty. Coming back inside dog walked loosely and went striaght into kennel. 9/19 Approaching kennel, Bo holds an open mouth pant, low hanging tail, and dilated pupils as I babytalk as well as offer treats. Noticed that he kept circling around me with a very tight leash and would ignore treats while leash walking on the way to and back from the runs. After being placed back and attempting to take off leash, dog would flinch/turning head backwards toward my hand. I would toss over treats to attempt to redirect his attention since he started to get vocal (while panting) when I would pass by with other dogs. 9/20 Today, I tried chicken to redirect his attention since he ignores regular treats. Bo does still pull on the leash but I can regain his focus with using chicken pieces along the way as well as slow his pace down to reduce the pulling. I still noticed that he was still flinching and turning his face towards my hand when retrieving his leash.
