Mac LOVES getting treats. He pulled a little to get outside both times i walked him, but I think its because he is potty trained cause he pottied immediately when we got outside both times and then was easier to walk on leash. He also is super treat motivated, knows sit (see video), and honestly won't take his eyes off you if he knows you have treats. So the cheat code to instantly improve his leash manners is just let it be known that you have the yummy snacks 😅

08/03/24 10:43 Lying on blanket but stood when I approached. Walked with semi-loose leash ahead of me out to runs and pottied outside; kept kennel clean overnight and had not pottied.
8/20 For AM walk, Mac walked on a very tight leash. When I had brought him back inside, Mac was barking loudly in his kennel. I looked over to check on him and he was barking at the divider. I called for him and he turned around to face me with a wiggly body. Later when I was passing out enrichment, he was very aggressively barking at the divider with bared teeth. It was harder to redirect him this time so I moved him to a different kennel. After only a few minutes, Mac and the dog behind him were barking and snarling at each other through the divider. I moved him to a different row where no dogs were on the other side of the divider.
8/21 This morning I approach the kennel and Mac was standing in front of the kenne door with a tense body, high stiff tail and tight mouth. I place a leash on him, he walk out of the kennel and while walking down the hall he was pulling on the leash. I tossed treats to redirect him on loose leash but just ignored the treat.
During PM walk, I was hearing a dog hitting against the divider, I went to investigate on who it was and it was Mac. He was barking, pawing at the divider and when I called out his name he stop turned around and look at me.
