Volunteer 1:
Oh my this little guy is the best! He was curled up in his bed when I came over to say Hi. He came over right away and took my treats. He leashed easily and walked very light on lead outside. He did his business immediately once outside. Friendly sniffs and tail wags to all the dogs he met. He had to be sure and say hi all the dogs down the kennel row. He knows sits and takes treats like a gentleman. He?s very friendly, and would come right over when I called to give me some kisses. I love his little bat ears and curly tail. He really enjoyed sunbathing outside. He?s such a perfect size too! What a cutie!!
Volunteer 2:
Onyx is a spunky little senior! He leashed easily, walked well, got belly rubs, played fetch, and even grabbed the leash when he was ready to head back inside for some AC.

8/10 Vocalizing in kennel during cleaning before he'd been walked. Hadn't pottied in kennel overnight and
pottied out in runs. Settled down in kennel after coming back inside, lying on bed. After opening he began to get vocal
again when door to row would open so I took him on walk and he relieved himself on grass. Settled in kennel again after
that. Mostly quiet throughout day, enjoyed pb-covered benebone for enrichment and tried to catch rope toy I tossed in for
him. Vocal again after feeding and took out to potty.
8/16 Wehn approaching kennel, dog has loose body language and wiggly body. I open the kennel leashing him and he walks
out with a wagging tail walking loosely as I take him outside to a run.
8/18 Constantly barking in kennel. Once a Vet Tech walked in to administer medication, Onyx stood at the corner of the kennel
and barked loudly towards the technician. The other dogs began to join in so I placed a kuranda bed directly in front of the
door to block view and covered.
