Nancy is literally a little piglet 💞💞💞💞 I loved her and her little pink spotted nose!! She is so tiny. Poor thing had a cute little collar. I am guessing that she had a bit too much energy and her previous owners didn?t have the patience to train her. She can sit and is very treat motivated. She loved to play and was energetic with toys when we got outside! Nancy is just a tiny piggy puppy and needs an opportunity for some training. She was extremely sweet and I?m sure would thrive outside of the shelter!

Hello,
Nancy was picked up after it was reported that 2 dogs were running loose in a neighborhood-kennel card of the other dog below (Strickland). Nancy was timid when she first came in but her behavior has improved-see notes below. Nancy is heartworm negative but has some healing wounds-see notes below.
Please let us know if you can help Nancy, she is available immediately.
Thanks!

7/29 Semi-pulls on the leash, tense body, whines in the kennel and dilated eyes.
8/2 dog was in kennel sitting by her bed and when i leashed her she quickly stood up and walked lose leash with wiggly body and outside dog ran in the run and when bringing her back she greeted me with wiggly body and as we walked back inside dog jumped on me and when opening her kennel door she walks in and sits.
8/4 Approaching kennel Nancy is standing at the front of the kennel with a wiggly body, fast wagging tail and a smile like expression. Once leashed she darts out the gate and holds a tight leash, quick movements, and a high fast tail wag. 8/7 Approaching the kennel, Nancy presented a wiggly body, dialted eyes, fast wagging tail and vocalizing. Open the kennel door, she tried to bolt out of the kennel before placing the leash on her. Once the leash was on Nancy, she started pulling forward on the leash but was easily redirected with treats but after awhile she started ignoring the treats. I walk Nancy to the run, removed the leash and once I started to walk away, she started to get very vocal and jumping on the gate.
8/8 Approaching kennel Nancy presents a wiggly body, fast wagging tail and dilated eyes. Nancy tried to dart out of the kennel while I was trying to leash her, on the leash Nancy holds a semi-tight leash due to quick movements and jumping on the leash, wiggly body and a high fast wagging tail.
8/10 Approaching kennel Nancy is standing by the kennel door with a wiggly body, fast tail wagging, and ears bent. On the leash Nancy holds a very forward leash, high tail wag and quick movements. As I was retrieving another dog from the runs Nancy began to whine jumping on the run door and biting at the fence.
8/11 Approaching kennel, Nancy painted everywhere in the kennel, while atempting to place the leash on her, Nancy started to bit onto the leash and pull. Place treats on the floor to distract her and once I place the leash on her,she walk out of the kennel and started pull forwarding on the leash. I tossed treats while walking to redirect her, she will eat some of them and just ignore them to start pulling foward again. In the run, she is very vocal, jumping high on the fence and presenting a tense body. Once her kennel was clean, I walk back out to get Nance and again when I was trying to place the leash on her, she would move her head and grab onto the leash to start bitting it and pulling on hte leash.
