06/14/24 14:20 Canine is showing high levels of anxiety and stress in kennel in the shelter environment. Needs placement with an adopter or New Hope partner by close of business 6/19/24. May be at risk of euthanasia 6/20/24 or sooner if warranted.
Birdie is very scared by the chaos at the shelter. She will sometimes tremble and hide in the back of her kennel. Can you blame her? The shelter is loud and disruptive at times. Birdie will allow you to leash her if you go slow. In the yard, she will come forward to you if you toss her treats. She has allowed some volunteers to pet her slowly.
We believe with some decompression time in her new home Birdie will open up and be a great companion to her person. Can you give her a chance?
