I came into the shelter as a stray on 1/30/2024
Trooper needs emergency placement due to behavioral concerns. Although Trooper has not been in care for long, he has displayed a concerningly intense level of dog reactivity on leash, during playgroup, and when passing other dogs' kennels. When removed from his kennel, his kennel fighting is incredibly intense and there is concern that he may redirect onto the staff. When out of his kennel, he remains anxious but he does accept treats and seeks attention from handlers. Medically, Trooper is underweight.
