Maxwell greeted me with a wagging tail and wiggly body. I wasn?t sure what to expect since his dog notes noted him as over aroused and vocal but he was calm for me during our short encounter. He ate treats politely through the gate and was excited to try one of my daughter?s homemade dog treats. He sat patiently at his gate while I retrieved more treats and didn?t jump up or pounce on his gates as his notes suggested. He didn?t show me he knew ?sit? and was hard to gauge what other basic commands he may or may not know since I couldn?t take him out, but overall, a very friendly, big dog. His notes also had him as having wounds but I was not able to see those today.

12/23: Dog was whining at the front of the kennel, low fast wagging tail. I leashed and he was walking behind me. He jumped on my from behind twice. I had to guide him to stay on the side of me. Was hoppy, whining. Had to guide into kennel where he hopped up again
12/26: Maxwell has loose wiggly body and tail, jumping up and down on kennel door. Maxwell is very vocal. When on leash Maxwell pulls forward hard, tossed treats to try to redirect him but ignored them. When trying to place back in new kennel Maxwell would pull away and start jumping on my arm.
12/27: When approaching kennel he was jumping/pawing on kennel door high pitch vocalizing, eyes dilated, heavy open mouth panting and fast wagging tail.
