Humphrey A1896668: my favorite of the day. This big burly, old man bulldog is just such a good dog and I already know it?s going to take a miracle for him to make it out tomorrow alive but lord, do I hope it happens. He?s so quiet and mellow, moseyed on out once leashed before quickly doing his business - sorry pup whose kennel he peed on . He takes treats with the absolute gentlest little nibble, more like vacuuming them into his mouth to avoid even the mere suggestion of getting your fingers. He?s got signs of having lived outside or on the streets for most his life: dirty coat darkened by flea dander, heavy callouses at his elbows, scabbed over wounds along his cheeks, heat sores in his armpits and paws, and then a wound on his back flank. I also noticed a small dog sized skin tag near his testicles - so he?s probably got some health issues which will need addressing.
