#1 Another volunteer had her out right outside of her kennel. Poor momma was sitting there,scared and skaing, so we didn't press her to walk any further. She allowed pets and let us handle her. She wants to trust, but she is just so scared. Once we put her back in her kennel, she did eventually eat her treats. I have no doubt she will flourish once outside of the shelter. She just needs a chance.
#2 Windy has had a litter before but I couldn?t tell if she was pregnant again, poor girl is very scared up at the shelter but she never made a peep nor growled nor showed any reactive behavior, she is just terrified. I was able to get her on a leash but she wasn?t very interested in moving far down the line, she did however enjoy my pets and attention and I have her a lot! She let me look at her teeth and squish her face, she just needs out of this scary place!
