A1894859 Chevy - rushes the gate, good on a leash but stopped to sniff hello to every dog before growling at them. He was easy to redirect and never barked or escalated the encounters but this was every dog: stop, sniff a quick hello, growl. Outside he tried rushing out the run before I could close the gate such that I thought it best to keep him on leash. He has a very anxious energy and got amped up even more when I brought Selena out next to him, so our time was cut short. He does know sit (eventually) and takes treats politely for all his other exuberance. I think he?s got some pent up frustration from being in the shelter and will need an experienced handler to manage his behavior toward other dogs.
