I have two favorite types of dogs: big dogs and little dogs, and Big proves why big dogs are the best (alongside little dogs, of course). He was just so quiet and forlorn in his kennel, and he avoided looking at me, even when I would use treats as a lure or lift his head up. He showed no signs of aggression or behavior issues, just meandered out once I had him on a leash and walked right by my side through the late afternoon cleaning routine. He sniffed at a few dogs but mostly kept to himself. Aside from some callouses in the usual places, he seems in good physical condition. The notes from the shelter say he?s a previous bite case from back in 2019, so that?s the only reason I can surmise he?s Rescue Only. Good dude, just needs help getting out.
