Lola A1835817 - Lola was near the front of her kennel barking at me, on guard when I arrived to the gate. She had a stiff body posture, puffed lips and wide eyes, and that defensive bark. I offered her a few treats which she sniffed but otherwise ignored. I offered her my hand through the gate and I could feel her expel her breath against it but she never softened her body posture, retreating toward the back as I opened the door. I was never able to leash or pet her so I left. When I returned after visiting who I think is her sister (Lulu), she?d eaten all the treats but was still not in the mood for pets.
