About beep: Beep ACCT-A-145198 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to medical concerns. Beep must have confirmed placement with an RESCUE PARTNER, FOSTER or ADOPTER by Sunday, August 27th at 10 A.M. Should Beep's medical or behavioral status change, their urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Due to being significantly overcapacity with dogs and cats and higher than usual intake, extensions are unlikely to be granted. If you are interested in an animal please contact ACCT Philly immediately. Meet Beep! He's a sweet and slow moving senior. Please don't ask him to run- he'd much prefer to watch tv!! Beep came in with his friend Bop and while they'd love to go home together, it's not a requirement. He is a laid back guy and is perfect if you're looking for a low energy bestie! Since coming to us Beep has quickly become a staff favorite, he has touched hearts with his unique personality and laid back demeanor. Beep shows us everyday that he can't wait to find his forever home, he gives us at ACCT endless love when out with staff. If you think you have room for this silly senior in your house. Please come meet him at ACCT Philly today! Medically Beep came to us on 08/17 as an intact male. He was assessed to have moderate dental disease, ear infections and a decreased range of motion in his gait. Beep has been medicated for his symptoms and is looking for a special home to relax into retirement with owners who can manage his senior care on an individualized basis! Beep has also had many positive dog interactions since being in our care so, if you are adding this pup to your pack we would recommend a slow introduction. Overall this happy boy is looking for a place to settle down and finally relax. If you can provide a loving and calm home for Beep. Please come meet him today! In the room he just wanted to sit by us and would follow us around. He gave some mid level wags and would lean against us while petting him. He showed interest in treats but would spit them out and not eat them. He was mellow and very easy to handle. Sweet old man. When Bop came in he was excited to see Beep. They are a very cute senior duo. On 08/17 staff noted: "In kennel Beep gave some "woo woos" and was a bt nervous of leashing. The handler closed the divider and once closed the handler was able to lasso him with the leash. He exited easily, but did fall when exiting the kennel. On 08/17 staff noted: "Beep and Bop were so cute together! They get along so well and are so well behaved. They love cuddling together and will trot around following each other and having a blast. They are two peas in a pod. Outside they would trot around exploring the play yard and would lay next to each other in the grass. They even laid in the pool together, soaking up all the sun and pool time. On 08/17 staff noted: "Beep and Bop can go home together and are bonded but are not required to! Due to limited space, timestamps may also be proceeded with early so it is imperative to let us know if you are considering adopting or tagging a dog or cat. Confirmed placement is considered confirmation of an actual rescue pull. Possible placement, interested parties, and other "TBD" statuses are not considered confirmed and do not indicate an animal is no longer urgent. ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Please visit www.acctphilly.org/adopt for details.
