Toben is shy, sweet and very sad to be at BARC. He was curled up on his blanket, kennel as clean as could be when I went to see him. He leashed up fine, and we had a nice slow walk outside. A number of dogs barked and lunged at him through their kennels- Toben seemed scared of them and sticked to walking next to me and pressed up against the wall. He took my treats very happily in his kennel- I mean look at those ears! He was super happy to get pats and some affection, that was the first tail wags I saw from him. He will do so well outside of BARC after some decompression.
Super shy, but sweet. Ate treats out of my hand well. Positioned himself between me and wall to avoid dogs while entering/exiting kennel. Excited to see me when I approached his kennel, and happy to be outside. Walked well on leash.
