Plea: ?Sky was picked up because the elderly owner let her run loose in the neighborhood and can no longer take care of her properly. Sky is heartworm positive and has dermatitis-see notes below. Sky is described as timid but is very sweet, no aggression noted.?
Intake: complainant states her mother's dog is in bad condition and does not have the funds to care for also dog roams loose and they cannot confine
Medical Notes: generalized areas of alopecia/hair thinning/scaling, high HW+
A: skin scrape negative, ddx sarcops/demodex/flea allergy/atopy, high HW+ P: rx .08ml ivomec sq, repeat in 2 & 4 weeks, rx capstar sid x 2
