Volunteer Notes Tucker is a sweet old man and I just loved him so much. He was laying quietly in his kennel resting his eyes and ignored a couple of puppies who began fighting each other over their PB bones to walk outside on a very loose lead. He doesn?t seem to know sit but will still take treats for trying, winding up a big chomp just to nibble it out of your fingers. He?s definitely got teeth in need of dental work and could use a bath to polish up his coat but otherwise, this gent said he was done with the tomfoolery of youth and is ready to kick back on the couch while you watch tv. He never made a peep while we had him outside, just curled up under the table to rest in the cool mud and shade.
Shelter Notes 5/14 Approaching kennel, tucker was laying in the front of the kennel with low ears, low head and avoid contact and the dog in the other side next to him, since he was able to opened the divider however tucker complete ignored him. I moved the other dog back to his kennel to be able to place the leash on tucker. when tucker went out, he shacked his body up and started wagging his tail. he walked on a loose leash. placed him in the nurse room for a while to give a little break where he was lying in bed quiet and relaxed. then moved him back to his kennel without issue.
