𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 5/13/23 S/O: BAR, appears to be a BCS of 2.5/9 with loss of muscle. Mammary chain does not appear to have masses, however nipples are enlarged but not inflamed. Mass on left dorsal abdomen near lumbar region is approx 2 cm diameter, no heat or swelling noted. Lick dermatis (hot spot) with hair loss and associated inflammaiton present immedately proximal to the point the tarsus on LH. A: Disfugured nipples likely due to over-use when dog was nursing litters. Small mass does not appear to be inflamed at this time, suggests that it may be scarring from old injury or foreign body; may also neoplastic. Lick dermatitis may suggest irrigation in that region from an insect bite, inflammation in the joint, or other irritant. P: Continue to monitor body condition and size/shape of small mass. Hot spot needs to be clipped and cleaned at time of surgery. If dog continues to irritate the area, put cone on head to limit access.
5/12/23 Back of back left leg has hot spot. Scars on body and legs. Small, firm mass on left side near back of left ribcage. Missing parts of right ear
