Volunteer Notes He was calm and quiet when I walked up to his kennel, was able to leash and walk out without issues. He walked really well on leash. Once in the yard he was a tiny bit timid at first but quickly opened up and took my treats super gently. There was a dog next to us and Merlin didn?t seem to pay much attention to him. A guy came to the yard interested in meeting Merlin and he did well with him. Super calm and gentle. A little picky about his treats but definitely treat motivated. He has a beautiful coloring and just a chill guy all around. He wasn?t a big fan of bandanas or the leash but was able to easily leash him to bring him back to his kennel. He let me pet him without issues and even gave me some kisses. Great dude!
Shelter Notes 5/5 When i went to go get him from the runs, he would try to avoid the leash, i went into the run and then started backing away from me. i offered him treats but he rejected them. i had another act help with leashing him. i tried to distract him and the other act managed to leash him. He walked to south on a semi tight leash, whenever we got to the door, thats when he started pulling on the leash and also attempted to chew on the leash but i tried to keep the leash away from his mouth by moving it around. needed to be muzzled and carried in.
