INTAKE: CLLR REPORTING 2 DOGS WERE LEFT ABANDON INFRONT RESIDENT APT 04/18 Dog was sitting towards the back of the kennel with tense body, dialed eyes, and ears held back. I used sweet talk and opened the door slowly. His body stayed tense as I placed the leash on him and he quickly walked out of the kennel. He walked slowly next to me slightly crouched, tail tucked and ears held up. He jerked forward before slowing down and walking next to me. He followed me into an open run but his body tensed up again, ears held back, and tail tucked. I attempted to remove the leash by slowly raised my hand up but I lost my grip and accidentally let the leash go
4/18 Dog was placed in runs to move to adoptions, when trying to move dog to new kennel dog had tense body, stiff tail dilated eyes with hackles up. As soon as I went into the run he started running away from me, when getting closer and trying to leash him, dog would low growl/forward bark and get really stiff. Had two other Senior ACT's assist with catching the dog, using the red board to corner dog under the picnic table in the runs. Once dog was cornered we were able to slowly leash dog and muzzle. Dog had to be carried back to eval.
