INTAKE picked up the last two dogs from location listed on activity
BEHAVIOR NOTE Alarm barking, wide eyes, pursed lips. When I sweet talked he settled and began to do a fast wag but still had dilated eyes
BEHAVIOR NOTE This morning I took Cheeseburger to the outside run, place him in the run and removed the leash. As I was walking away he was walking around sniffing. I went back inside to get another dog to take outside and when I walk the dog into another run, Cheeseburger came running around the parking lot. He jump the fence and I was trying to place the leash on him, he kept running away from me. I tossed some treats to see if he will get them but he ignored them, I put my hand out through the leash to try to leash him but he ran from me. I then bent down to his level and he came up to me to wher I was able to pet him and place the leash on him. I walk him back to his kennel where he went straight to his bed and layed down. He will have to be leash walk only.
BEHAVIOR NOTE During PM feeding, Cheeseburger started scratching/banging on the divider.
BEHAVIOR NOTE Approaching kennel, dog is lunging at kennel door when other dogs pass by so I toss treat to redirect attention. I also notice that he forward barks a lot as when I leave his sight. When walking he has raised hackles while ignoring treats as well as pulling on leash. When left in runs, dog starts to jump on run door and scratch at the door while vocalizing. Covered kennel door and gave extra enrichment.
