Paisley needs a hold 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗣𝗠 or she?ll be euthanized. We need pledges and a local foster for a rescue to help.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Paisley seems so defeated at BARC. She was laying curled in a ball on the far end of her kennel when I came to see her. She barely moved a muscle when i opened the gate and leashed her up, sort of like it wasn?t worth the effort. She?s super skinny and rather hairless - not sure if that?s from hair loss or if she?d been shaved down but compared to Mordecai, for example, Paisley doesn?t have the husky fluff you?d expect. Initially put in the runs, Paisley avoided my presence, running away as I?d approach her. Once I got her attention and offered her a few treats, she felt more comfortable to allow me near her. She does know sit and didn?t care about other dogs in their kennels or a young pup who pulled toward her as we went back inside. She has a small healing wound on her front paw.

3/30 Approaching kennel, dog remains in bed with tucked tail, erect ears, and tense body. I offer treats from a far and also squat down to lure her towards me. She avoided eye contract and lip licked with back ears.
𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 3/24/23: S/O: limping LF, LF carpus swelling with wound medially, alopecia/hair thinning on rear end extending up back A: wounds, ddx flea allergy P: rx clavamox 375mg bid x 14, rx rimidyl 75mg sid x 14, rx capstar sid x 2
