I think Lady Bug is a bit stressed, as all owner surrenders usually are. She barked at me when approaching her kennel but was super easy to leash and walked out hurriedly. Out in the runs she wasn?t really interested in treats and would more so run from one gate to another, looking around for a way out. Occasionally she would randomly jump on me with full force hahaha. I finally picked up a tennis ball which really piqued her interest - she LOVES to play fetch and catches the ball in the air impressively well, 10 times in a row in fact! She didn?t do great walking down the rows of dogs but she really just seems so easily overstimulated, I think some exercise and rest would do her really well.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 BITE CASE DOG - confirmed on 02/22/23 13:43 that Lady Bug is not the bite case dog
3/1 Tight leash while walking towards the runs. Bouncy ears, wagging tail, soft body, while pulling ahead. She did not focus or pay attention to the treats being tossed before her. When it was time to bring her inside, she was jumping high on the door the run as I walked towards her. Her mouth was open as she panted and waited for me to open it. She pulled back towards the adoption building. Once we walked through the suite I noticed she would provoke reactions from the dogs in their kennels. She had her hackles raised as she stopped to growl at the dogs inside before scurrying away
2/26 when i approach lady bug, she immediately gets up and starts jumping on kennel door. when im walking her, she runs in zigzag while pulling on leash. she jumps on me as if she would like to play with me.
2/25 dog greeted me with a loose body high wagging tail and soft mouth. walked on a loose leash heading to her outdoor run. once it was time to bring her back in she presented the same body language but began walking on a tight leash. offered treats which went ignore. once we were back in her row she walked into her kennel with out any issues.
