Celtic is a lowrider and is the cutest thing ever. He is very curious about what is in the yard. Loves treats and looking all over the yard for treats. Easy to leash and walks wonderfully on leash. I wanted to get some pictures of him, and he was the perfect model and almost on cue for when I ready to snap away, he sat down and posed. This guy is such a sweet and calm boy.

Barrier introduction: Both dogs sniffed with loose wagging tails Both dogs sniffing each other - celtic high head and flagging tail, lizzie lots of fast movements. Celtic did a half hip check whiles interacting. Lizzie jumping on people throughout. Both dogs intermittently approach and sniff the same spot on grass, then move around the yard independently. Dropped leashes after 10 mins. Not much more interaction than listed above - stopped session

Celtic - he was waiting at the front of the kennel, all four feet on the floor, waited for leash to be placed over the head - walked loose leash to yard Celtic - he was waiting at the front of the kennel, all four feet on the floor, waited for leash to be placed over the head - walked loose leash to yard
Did not do off-leash interaction
Playgroup w/ Lily - A1865559
At fence: Sniffed through the barrier, lily really wiggly. Celtic was calm with a loose body
Off leash: Lily jumped up and on Celtic as he moved away, she continued to be loose and wiggly while he investigated the yard. Both dogs would approach and sniff each other periodically. Celtic then attempted to hump several times. Lily snapped to correct, and Celtic moved away - he then tried to engage again and we stopped the session

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮: Shy but sweet Celtic was picked up running loose in a neighborhood. He is friendly with the shelter staff but doesn?t walk very well on a leash-see notes below. Celtic came in with Khimber-see kennel card below. They may not have come from the same household.
𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘: 2 stray dogs roaming loose.
2/20 Verbal updates : Evaluation staff mentioned that this dog was carried for 3 days while in the snake line. Another technician made progress and walked backwards with the dog while offering treats. Move Adopt :
Dog was placed in the runs this morning. I approached the run door and opened it to leash him. He lowered his head and tucked his tail. The technician that made walking progress with him was on standby in front of the runs in case I needed help. As I walked closer, he ran away from me but stopped and hid underneath the bench. I slowly walked towards him and offered treats from my palm. He began to wag his tail and I leashed him while he sniffed the treats. He walked out of the run with me slowly, but at a decent pace. His body was lowered as he walked. He ate a few of the soft treats and chicken while making our way to the adoption building. Once inside the building he walked to the suite and slowly followed me into his new kennel.
2/23 greeted me with a loose body, low wagging tail and soft mouth. allowed me to leash him with no issues and slowly exited his kennel. walked slowly out to the runs while sniffing around but keeping his head lowered. once it was time to head back in, he presented the same body language but froze in the middle of the parking lot and refused to walk. act realized was able to coax him into walking into south with very extra baby talk. walk back into his row and kennel with no other issues.
