Malia, female GSD mix, 4 yrs. 45 lbs. Malia was trapped by a local outreach group. She is timid for our adoption floor. She spooks easily with fast movements. She is getting a bit more comfortable with various people. She does really do well with the staff who cleans her aisle, and visited me in the hallway today and seemed comfortable. She was put into play group at one point when she first arrived, and was ok. She didn't engage or want to play with the other dogs and just seemed disinterested in general. She was evaluated for the adoption floor, and they did pass her, but other staff just think she is not ready for the hustle and bustle of meeting so many people at once.
