About pinky pie: A5143155 Pinky Pie is an affectionate 2-year-old gray female Pit Bull who came in to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from Azusa on January 15th. Weighing 70 lbs, this big girl is a total love bug. She is super curious, social and wants to say hi to everyone she sees. She already knows how to sit and definitely enjoys just hanging out and getting lots of attention. Pinky Pie is interested in other dogs and gets along with them well, but needs a proper introduction given her size and exuberance. She passed her temperament test with flying colors! She is a kissy dog, friendly, and has a medium energy level. To fully appreciate what an amazingly sweet and cuddly dog this girl is you really have to watch her video. Pinky Pie is also housebroken! Pinky Pie?s soft coat is just lovely to pet and though she is energetic when first she gets out of her kennel, because she?s been stuck in it for so long, she will also just mellow out, sit down near you and observe the world as you pet her. In fact, when her handler was chatting with one of the other volunteers, Pinky Pie just sat there calmly looking about, without any anxiety or nervousness. Pinky Pie also seems calm around children (who walked by while we had her out). She is ok on leash but pulls a bit and will need some additional training. This girl is a real charmer and perfect indoor companion for any individual or family that wants a big loving dog that they want to take out for hikes or walks, but is also calm, affectionate and attentive when hanging out at home.
