About smitty: A5043471 Smitty is a knock-out 7-year-old male white-and-black Jack Russell Terrier mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on March 23rd as a stray from La Puente. 17-lb Smitty is ridiculously cute, with his one black ear and little black nose. He looks like pure Jack/Parson Russell Terrier. He's showing a little wear from his time on the street -- he badly needs a bath, and came in with some scrapes and possible trauma to his eyes -- so he should see an outside vet. He's good on leash but would prefer to be carried, is nice with other dogs, and loves to be held. Smitty is scared in the shelter, but we think he'll blossom once he's home and safe.
