About tomas: A5025220 Tomas is a good-natured, handsome 5-year-old caramel-and-white neutered male Chihuahua and Beagle mix who came into the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from Hacienda Heights on January 12th. Weighing 21 lbs, Tomas is quite the striking guy-next-door with his big brown eyes and little black eyebrows. He's good on leash, shows signs of being house trained, has a medium energy, is good with other dogs, and has a loving and accepting temperament. The shelter reports that Tomas has a 2/6 heart murmur, which is on the low end of the spectrum and may not even need treatment (and, if it does require treatment, the medication is not expensive, according to our knowledge). He does require a medical waiver for this condition, however, which means you promise to have him seen by a vet. We think Tomas is a real catch and will make a fine indoor pet and companion for any type of household.
