About blacky: A5022299 Blacky is a kissy 4-year-old black neutered male Long Haired Dachshund and Spaniel mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on December 30th as an owner surrender because his family no longer had time for him. Weighing 13 lbs, Blacky is calm, gentle, and loving, and he really likes to give everyone kisses. He has kennel mates with whom he gets along well, so we expect he?ll do fine with other dogs. As far as we can tell, this sweet boy was not walked much on leash, so he doesn?t know what to expect. But once you get him going, he is a quick study and is eager to please. He would also be an excellent choice as a purse pet. Blacky is an adorable and agreeable dog who is eagerly waiting to join a family who will cherish him forever as their indoor companion.
