Any dog that allows me to put glasses on him, a top hat, and a bow tie within minutes of meeting him gets bonus points in my book. Mac is just super chill. At 75 pounds, he walks nicely on the leash, is very gentle and seems housebroken. Surrendered because his owner had a personal problem, Mac is described as playful, affectionate, confident and outgoing and has lived with children of all ages and whilst always relaxed, he can be a rough player. Throughout his notes, the common theme is the word "friendly". Mac is friendly toward strangers, friendly if you touch his toys or food, friendly during baths, restraints or if someone approaches the house. And though friendly might be a generic word, it certainly describes this gentle giant! He even remains friendly despite having a gash on his leg and having old scarring on his side. I can only assume that Mac did not become this relaxed and composed over night. A tranquil personality like his occurs from years of experience, one that only a middle-aged guy like him could acquire. They say things get better with age, and that could not be more true for Mac. Ask to meet him today! RE-EXAM; 4/12/16; VET CHECK; MONITOR FOR SIGNS OF HAPPY TAIL BAR. ATTENTION SEEKING SCAB AT TIP OF TAIL. A; HEALING WOUND AT TIP OF TAIL, NO BLEEDING.
