𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄 is now on the euthanasia list for "Behavior (still timid, cowering with whale eyes when approaching kennel, tight leash, tail tucked, very cautious when brought inside building, scurrying into the kennel)." 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 4/4/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Placed on adopt eval due to how tense his body and face is. as i walk him, he will start pulling as he is trying to keep a distance from me. he then starts to alligator roll as the leash starts to tighten. 4/5/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Approaching kennel, dog is cowering with whaled eyes, slightly lifted front paw, and then begins to zigzag around me after I open kennel door slowly with babytalk. Dog would flee to the opposite side of where I was and would maneuver head to avoid being leashed (ignored treats throughout interaction). Once leashed, dog would back up and slightly thrash. Opened the doggy doors to he could flee to his outside kennel and I could be able to clean his inside kennel. 4/6/2025: BEHAVIOR NOTE: Leashed Mike and he walked out with tight leash, tail tucked. Was standing at front of kennel and lowered head while placing leash but otherwise didn't move to avoid leash. Walked out to runs. When entering his run I baby talked and he became very excitable, tail fast wagging and tappy toes in circle all around me while I placed leash and walked him back inside.
