Meet Bruce, a 3-year-old dog who was found as a stray and is now on the road to recovery. Despite his rough past, Bruce is incredibly affectionate and loves being around people. He?s currently non-weight bearing on his left hindlimb and has healing abrasions on his right hind foot, but his spirits are high. Bruce is thin but bright, alert, and responsive (BAR).
Recent radiographs show that Bruce has a fractured left femoral head, and he?s been sedated for these exams. Bruce is looking for a loving family to help him through his recovery and provide the affection he craves. He?s ready to be a loyal and loving companion!

03/24/25: NWB on L hindlimb, healing abrasions on R hind foot, thin, BAR. Sedated for rads.
Rads- fractured L femoral head. Gave LRS SQ and carprofen injection.
Shelter Observations
03/24/25: During the observation, Bruce was sweet. He allowed me to enter the kennel, accepted head rubs, and was very affectionate.
