Survivor is a 3-year-old dog who was brought in as an owner surrender. Despite her difficult past, she?s shown incredible strength and heart. Recently, Survivor has been struggling with her appetite, and we?re working closely to help her feel better. She?s a gentle soul with a lot of love to give, and with a little time and care, we?re confident she?ll begin to flourish again.
Medical Notes:
03/01/25: Pet has been prescribed Doxycycline for 14 days as part of our new heartworm therapy. Pet is to go home with remaining Doxycycline prescribed.
RX: Doxycycline 100mg Tabs ? 10mg/kg(Round down) BID x 14 days.
03/17/25: Pt has no appetite, has crusty nasal-high (+) for HW-LMV
Purulent nasal discharge, coughing, pink tacky mm, increased skin tent, not eating.

Survivor ran to the back of her kennel when I entered but after a while slowly approached for sniffs. She didn't seem interested in the treats I tossed her. She licked my hand a little but generally kept her distance. She did some to the front of the kennel behind me when I was leaving.
