About cleo: Hello, my name is Cleo. My animal id is #220972. I am a female white dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 11 months 3 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 2/21/2025.

Cleo is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Cleo was brought to the care center following a bite that led to a cats death, and hard barking and baring teeth towards her finder. During her stay in the care center Cleo has presented similar behaviors. She has been observed to escalate to hard barking, lunging, and snapping at the leash. Throughout her stay Cleo has allowed handling with a tense body and has remained receptive to treats and other high value items. Recently Cleo has also been observed to be jumping up and down in kennel. Medically Cleo is apparently healthy.
