The runner knelt at the kennel gate and began to verbally reassure him. He then began to growl and gave a show of teeth. When the runner opened the kennel gate a small amount, he remained at the front and began to defensively bark. He remained easy to loop leash and remained at the front. He required a lot of verbal coaxing to exit the kennel, as he was hesitant to jump over the kennel lip. He walked to the play yard with a hard pull. He entered the catch pen with soft eyes and a neutral tail wag. He exchanged soft greetings with the other dogs through the play yard fence. He was easily collared by the runner. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He was approached by a female cattle dog and exchanged a soft greeting with her. He was then approached by a male Pitbull and exchanged a soft greeting with him. He began to calmly roam the yard and explore his surroundings. He was tolerant of dogs trailing him to sniff him. He continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with other dogs. He was approached by a female cattle dog that playfully nudged him with her muzzle to entice play. He remained tolerant of thi: and offered no corrections but declined the invitations to play. He remained calm and social for the rest of his time in the yard. He would approach the handlers and seek affection. Lotto is social with the other dogs but has no play style at this tume. He was given a moment to acclimate to his suroundings. The handler knelt and called to him. He approached the handler with soft eyes and neutral tail wag. He began to lean against the handler and seek affection. He allowed the handler to pet his head with no reaction. He allowed the handler to check his ears with no reaction. When the handler checked his teeth, he tumed his head away. He allowed the handler to touch and ift his front paws but had concemed eyes. He allowed the handler to touch his tal with no reaction. When the handler touched his back paws, he looked back with concemed eyes and quickly pulled them away. He was retumed to his kennel without issue. He displayed no negative or conceming behavior toward the handler during the handling but is sensitive of handling certain areas and does best with a go-slow approach. Due to this, he will be designated As adults only required.
