Iva is a shy but special girl who came into the shelter as a stray from the community. She?s a bit scared and stand-offish right now, but with time, patience, and a quiet place to decompress, she?ll start to come out of her shell.
Medical Note 03/08/25:
Medical Departments Findings: unable to examine without sedation BCS = 3/9. Abrasions on both hocks, crepitus in right stifle, dog has an abdominal tattoo, microchip and tartar, L fore digit # 2 nail bed is exposed. Putting on gaba and traz for behavior. Rads taken.
Surgical Consult 03/09/25: Review of radiographs only: moderate canine hip dysplasia, left greater than right, with partial subluxation of the femoral heads. Did not appreciate any stifle pathology on the radiographs taken.
Shelter Observation 03/08/25:
dog was very scared, did growl when put into blue bucket.
