About rocky: My name is ROCKY and I'm approximately 2 years old male germ shepherd. He would not approach despite the runner coaxing him. The runner opened the gate and he remained tense with concemed eyes but allowed the leash to be placed over his head without issue. He stood up and exited the kennel, remaining at the end of leash, wary of the runner. He would side eye her and kept his distance as he walked to the catch pen. He hesitated to enter the pen with hackles raised and a high stiff tail as he noticed the other dogs. He had wide eyes and a stiff body as he stretched to sniff a few dogs through the play yard fence. He seemed to relax with the runner, approaching her and leaning against her leg as she clasped the collar around his neck. He slowly entered the yard with hackles raised. He was approached by a few calm dogs. He was wary, leaning away from them with wide eyes and a high stiff tail. He tolerated their presence for a few seconds and then walked away to roam. He was not comfortable with his back end being sniffed or touched as he would flinch significantly and spin around to face the dog with wide eyes and hackles raised. He spent a few minutes calmly roaming the yard by himself and would deviate his course to avoid others. A female lab came up to greet him. As she lingered near his face too long, he growled and air snapped once, waming her for space. She respected the waming and backed away. He was wary of the handlers while in the yard. He would approach them, briefly sniff their hand and tolerate a quick head rub before walking away. He kept to himself for the rest of his time in the yard. He flinched lightly as the handler rubbed the top of his head but appeared to relax soon after. He was loose as the handler looked into his ears. He tumed his head away from the handler's hand as he went to view his teeth with concemed eyes. He was not comfortable with his rear paws being touched as he pulled them away and side-eyed the handler. He was also not comfortable with his tail being held as he sat down and side-eyed the handler again. He was more relaxed with his front paws being held, eventually pulling them away after a few seconds. He was retumed to his kennel without issue at this time.
