Eval Comments: He greeted the runner at the gate with soft eyes and a loose body, allowing the leash to be placed over his head easily. He
pulled lightly on leash, crossing over in front of the runner repeatedly, while walking to the catch pen. He entered the pen with alert ears, hackles raised and a high fast nub wag. He greeted several dogs through the fence with concered eyes and hackles raised. He was loose with the runner as the collar was clasped around his neck. He entered the yard and approached a calm female shepherd. He had soft eyes and a loose body until she became playful. He was not comfortable with her energy and raised his hackles with wide eyes. He walked away from her and spent a few moments calmly roaming the yard.
Amale cattle dog came up to him an bumped into his side. He was tense with wide eyes wile tolerating a bnef exchange.
He then spent a few moments going between the handlers to solicit affection with a wiggly body and fast nub wag. He lightly jumped while lightly pawing at their side to continue receiving affection. He was not comfortable around a group of playful dogs who came up to greet him and entice play. He became stiff with wide eyes and postured while leaning forward towards them. The handlers stepped in and verbally separated the group. Winston continued to roam the yard, tolerating calm dogs approaching him and kept his distance from playful dogs. He felt much more comfortable around the handlers as he kept nearthem most of the time forreassurance and affection. He did not display any play style while in the yard. He needs basic manners training for his jumping. He also needs continued socialization with other dogs. He does have a history of altercations in the home with other dogs for undisclosed reasons. BEHAVIORALLY OK FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION WITH KNOWN HISTORY OF AGGRESSION DISCLOSURE, CALM DOGS (REQUIRED), MEDIUM ENERGY
