About oxiford: 🆘On the euthanasia list 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐/𝟐𝟏 🆘 M 💙🐶 Oxiford - #A1994377 2/12 Stray | Staffie Mix | Male | 1Y5M | 40lbs | HW NAD 🔹𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 1 tan color dog that is tied to a post in fronyt of the HCC hospital 💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 Oxiford is a very excited and active pup! He was dying to get out of the kennel. He was looking around super anxiously. He has a lot of energy and would do much better with a yard to run in and maybe another dog to play with. 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 2/19/25: When I approached his kennel, Oxiford was jumping on the kennel door with a tense wiggly body, tense open mouth, and wide eyes. I opened the kennel door and he pushed past me into the row. I leashed him and he walked on a very tight leash to the outside runs. He was only occasionally interested in the treats I was throwing along the way. When I retrieved him from the outside run, he pushed past me again and was running loose in the North courtyard. When I knelt down and called for him, he ran to me then ran away again. He did this a few times until I threw a handful of chicken on the ground and he was eating it long enough for me to leash him. He was very vocal in his kennel when people were in the row even with his kennel covered. 2/17/25: As I approach, Oxiford is jumping onto kennel door with a wiggly body and wagging tail whining. As I opened door she bolted out of kennel and ran into other empty open kennels I called out to him and he ran passed me I tossed treats which he ignored, he ran into his kennel and I closed door behind him. I slowly opened kennel to to leash he tried to bolt out again I leashed and he began to jump onto me and using feet to push off my body I decided to muzzle and put him through his doggy doors due to him ignoring treats and redirections, has been quiet throughout the day.
