Chloe E had a rough time in intake. She walked willingly on a leash but she did not let handler complete wellness. She would growl and bark when staff attempted to approach her. Weigh is estimated.
On 12/20/24 I visited Chloe at her kennel. She was standing at the front and gave a low tail wag at my approach. She sniffed my hands through the bars. I offered treats, but she showed no interest. I briefly opened the kennel door ands he let out a low growl. I tried to call to her but she was tense. I closed the door and she remained stiff with a hard stare, growling.
On 12/31/24 I visited Chloe E in her kennel. She was standing at the front with a friendly tail wag. I offered treats which she accepted. I entered her kennel and she allowed for pets all over and especially likes a good butt scratch. Very friendly and affectionate. Removed blue dots from kennel cards and placed neckband.
On 1/2/25 Chloe met another dog. She was easy to get out of her kennel, but was very barrier reactive to all the dogs she walked by (growling/snapping at the doors).
Once outside, she was barrier reactive at the gate. The other dog was somewhat timid and backed away from the gate, but she persisted.
I walked Chloe in, she briefly paused upon entry, then attempted to lunge and snap at the other non-reactive dog. Flagging as single dog home
